Sculpting Process

This piece was an early attempt at sculpting my first animal form.

I thought a rhinoceros would be a simple subject, but it quickly proved to be a challenge. The thickness of the skin made it difficult to clearly identify plane changes and to understand the underlying anatomy beneath the surface.

This piece is unfinished and will likely not be completed, serving instead as a record of experimentation and problem-solving.
